Working hard and having fun is what our heroes do everyday! Both studios dived into their creativity this week through art, writing, reading, and playing games. Our learners are proud of the things they create and can’t wait to show their parents at pick up time!
We have reached the last session of the year and summer break is rapidly approaching! The weather caused us to miss Wednesday, but we didn’t let that slow down our productivity. We even had two new heroes join us - welcome to Aubri and Leah!
That’s a wrap on Session 6 and we are rolling into the last session of the year! Our heroes have worked hard in core skills and are aiming to meet those end of the year badge plan goals. We covered topics such as plant cells, the life cycle of a butterfly, and how to write a gratitude letter. We got our hands dirty planting a garden in the back of the school, but also through painting like Monet in art. Our learners are so excited to see what the next session brings!‍
It was a fun-filled four day week with many memories made. We are excited to wrap up the session next week, and for parents to see all the awesome things our heroes have been working on at exhibition!
We worked hard and got our hands dirty this week! The weather has been awesome and the heroes were able to finish setting up their gardens. Now to maintain them and hopefully harvest some fruits, vegetables and herbs later on!
This week we explored women heroes and finally got to start building our garden! It is crazy to think we have made it to the half-way point of the session already. The learners are excited to see what has grown in their garden by the day of exhibition.
Week 2 of Session 6 has been all about growing our focus along with our plants! We have been learning so much about plants this week and getting our hands dirty. Both studios also participated in a challenge to earn points based on their focus during core skills.
We wrapped up Session 5 on Monday with our Newton’s Toy Workshop exhibition and began Session 6. This session our quest is to build a community garden! We are starting by learning what happens inside the plant cells and what plants need to grow.
