Session 4, Week 3, Year 2
The Eagles spend the week reflecting on what they learned during this quest from character traits they developed to new and interesting facts that ignited curiosity. Self-reflection is what’s called an “executive function skill,” which means a mental skill that helps them manage yourself and allows them to process their actions.
The Eagles are LOVING process drama! They really get into their characters and love singing the songs!
Some of the Eagles' goals for this week includes earning their reading, math, and spelling badges.Earning a badge means mastery of a skill or subject.After core skills each day, they partner up to help each other calculate their total points.Points represent effort and hard work!
The Eagles are starting to wrap up their letters to their heroes. They are working on their checklist on their tracking sheet to make sure they have everything they need for their badge like: grammar workbooks lessons, handwritten draft , peer review etc.
Little Eagles have been drafting their letters to Santa before older eagles peer review them and give them feedback and suggestions!
